So I tried to create a new character and enter a world, but when I click the final Confirm, this error/ message appears and forbids me the entry to the world. I want to play on that specific one because I want to play with my bf who is already there. The Character Creation Process When you begin playing Final Fantasy XI, you will have to create a new character. Creating a character consists of several steps, each allowing several options to customize your gameplay experience. Click anyone of the steps to jump to it's section on the page. Apr 14, 2021 Final Fantasy XIV is just like any other MMO in existence, before you get started into the fantasy-filled world of an MMO, you've got to make yourself a character. Whether that character is the spitting image of your or they look as close to a humanoid-bird creature as you can get them, you're going to need that character one way or the other.
Final Fantasy XIV features a simple, yet comprehensive character creation system which allows players to customize their avatars. Once a race and clan have been selected, players can proceed to choose from a wide variety of face types and hair styles. From there, detailed adjustments can be made to hair, skin, and eye color, as well as mouth, nose, and eye shape. A character's sense of individuality may be enhanced even further with the addition of such features as scars and tattoos. The possibilities are almost endless.
Customization options currently known to date include:
- Race
- Clan or tribe
- Sex
- Size
- Voice
- Skin tone
- Hair details - color, style and highlights
- Facial details - face, eyebrows, eye shape, iris size, eye color, nose, mouth, and features.
- Characteristics - scars, earrings, tattoo, and other accessories

Ffxiv Character Customization
Players new to Final Fantasy XIV will be able to pick from five different races, namely:
Each race consists of two different clans, each of which will have different appearance for players to customize.
General Appearance[edit | edit source]
After selecting your race and clan, you will be able to customize it's appearance. As of beta, players will be able to customize its' size, voice, skin tone, hair/facial features, and characteristics.
Size - Players will be able to choose the height the characters ranging from Shortest to tallest.
Voice - There are currently three types of voices available for Miqo'te. Choices may vary depending on the race.
Skin tone - Players can choose up to 16 different skin colors for their characters.
Hair features[edit | edit source]
In the hair settings, players will be able to choose the type, color and highlights of the hair.
Type - Up to 8 different type of hairs can be picked for Miqo'te. Choices may vary depending on the race.
Color and Highlights - There are currently up to 32 different colors and highlights for the hair.
Facial features[edit | edit source]
In the face settings, players will be able to choose various presets for each part, namely:
- Face Type
- Eyebrows
- Eye Shape
- Iris Size
- Eye Color
- Nose
- Mouth
- Features
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Character Creator Games
Players will be provided with other special features such as tattoo, scars, and accessories. Choices will be given in a form of check box. Players will be allowed to pick as many characteristics in any different combination freely.
